How To Make Blueberry Moonshine Recipe
This great recipe will make just over a gallon of blueberry pie moonshine; you can adjust the strength by adding more or less moonshine. If you don’t have access to moonshine, you can replace it with Everclear or combine blueberries, water, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and butter in a six-quarter or larger jar. Add to slow cooker.
Cover and cook on high flame for 2 hours or until the blueberries are soft. When the mixture comes to a boil, pour the brown sugar and blueberry pie filling into the can. Bring the mixture back to a boil and mix for about 30 minutes. Turn off the heat when the blueberries have softened nicely, and the sugar has dissolved.
Let the mixture rest for 3-4 hours or stay at room temperature. Once at room temperature, add vanilla whipped vodka and Everclear. Mix the alcoholic beverage well into the mixture until completely incorporated. Transfer the mixture into a jar or jug and store it in the refrigerator for at least five days.
Store in jars with lids in a cool, dark place for up to 35 days. Then, place the orange juice, blueberries, sugar, and cinnamon in a saucepan and cook over low to medium heat until it becomes a thick syrup. Keep stirring it continuously. Then, strain the blueberry mixture through cheesecloth and place it inside a colander.
